Bishkek International PPP Conference continues its work

On the second day of the Bishkek International PPP Conference the delegation of the PPP Development Center of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency within the framework of the UN Session on the «PPP development with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)» got acquainted with the presentation of the UN Economic Commission on the «Evaluation Methodology on PPP for SDG's», the presentation by UNICEF on the «Review of successful PPP international experience in preschool education», as well as online presentation of the World PPP Association (WAPPP).

The Director of the PPP Development Center, Anar Salmanov, participated in the Conference, spoke at the thematic session «Improving the National PPP Policy», organized with the participation of heads of PPP agencies from different countries, consulting companies and representatives of the Institute of Business Ombudsmen of the Kyrgyz Republic, with a presentation highlighting the development of PPP in our country. https://pppdc.gov.az/en/page/biskek-06102022  In his speech, he noted that PPP is an effective economic policy tool that ensures the full use of the mutual potential of the public and private sectors, as well as the coordination of innovative resources and their results. The presentation provided information on the PPP legal framework in Azerbaijan, the launch of the Center's official website, online training platform, the PPP institutional environment in our country, planned PPP projects and a database on them. Anar Salmanov also noted in his speech that the victory of our country in the Second Karabakh War in 2020 opened up wide opportunities for large investments in the territories liberated from occupation, including in the form of PPP.
